At present, more popular 12000CD /m2 high brightness lamps basically use large size LED chip.These large-sized dominant chips are widely used by most leading display manufacturers as the mainstream of the market and have no core technology to speak of.We all know that the brightness of an LED screen is directly related to the driving current of the LED lamp.The brightness of 12, 000 CD /m2 merely increases the drive current that directs the light.However, the physical nature of the guide lamp will be unavoidable: high brightness guides must be accompanied by high attenuation and low stability.High attenuation is not only not conducive to the long-term use of the tape display requirements, and become the excessive pursuit of high brightness congenital defects, and this birth defect will always have a multiplier effect on the lead display life and picture effect.

Take the high brightness PH16mm display screen as an example, the technical parameters of the high brightness LED lamp show that the brightness of 12000CD /m2 will be seriously reduced to 8000CD/m2 within 1.5-2 years, with an annual attenuation rate of over 20%.However, some irresponsible manufacturers claim that brightness will still exceed 10000 CD/m2 in two years.If consumers buy such screens, even if they decline rapidly after two years, they still have no way to complain because the contract has been fulfilled.In fact, there is a very simple way for consumers to test the effect of several high-brightness displays that have been running for more than two years and have been used for more than 12 hours a day.More importantly, after the brightness is reduced from 12000CD /m2 to 8000CD /m2, the condition of its high working current does not change, which will further double the attenuation rate of the brightness, resulting in a later attenuation rate several times faster, which becomes a high-attenuation display screen.Moreover, there is a vicious cycle of brightness attenuation, which cannot meet the requirements of long-term use.

In order to avoid light pollution and meet the requirements of environmental regulations, the brightness standards of LED displays used during the day and night are different.As is known to all, reducing brightness more or less will result in loss of grayscale, and the greater the brightness adjustment, the greater the grayscale loss.Therefore, if the initial brightness value of led display screen is set to 12000cd/m2 during the day, when the brightness value is reduced to 800CD /m2 at night, the grayscale will be extremely lost and the image quality at night will become very poor.Or the brightness cannot be adjusted to the standard requirements for use at night, causing heavy light pollution.

From this point of view, the value of high brightness, which is over-promoted in the market, does not mean the leading technology in LED display manufacturing technology, but a kind of high current and high brightness at the cost of serious sacrifice of display life.On the contrary, it is hard to avoid the suspicion of glitz and lack of money.
